Barrhead celebrated as 'Scotland's Most Improved Town'
SURF is Scotland's independent regeneration network and in partnership with the Scottish Government, the annual SURF awards celebrate excellence and innovation in initiatives addressing physical, social and economic problems in communities across Scotland.
A panel of 24 independent judges carefully assessed 54 applications and visited 16 different shortlisted initiatives across the country before deciding on Barrhead as Scotland's Most Improved Small/Medium Town.

I am delighted that Barrhead has received this coveted award.
